This is a wonderful little hat.
Made in the 1940s, it looks similar to the forage caps worn by the forces - military inspired pieces were quite common in the early 1940s.
Designed to be worn on the right side of your head, tilted to one side, it is made from cotton velvet and is fully lined. The front has a neat pleated grosgrain trim which has a paste and feather centre.
A stylish piece which would look great for day or evening wear.

Condition
Very good. Inner and outer are both lovely and clean. Just a very minor "perfume" odour from being stored in a hat box with soaps.
