This coat was made by David F Grossman in the 1940s. A classic swagger coat with boxy shoulders, wide sleeves and deep cuffs it is made from medium weight wool in a slightly raised check design and fastens at the neck with a single statement button. There is a concealed button just below the waist which keeps the coat closed and prevents it gaping when worn. It is fully lined with artificial silk.
This coat isn't meant to be close fitting but will fit up to a 44" bust. However, to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar item you already own.
