This is a wonderfully vibrant scarf.
Made in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, it is made from rayon and features a bold design with flags, crowns, guards and the coronation procession. The busy, bright design is surrounded by a border of purple.

Beautiful, there are only two minor points to note;
- there is an 5mm very faint mark on the white section
- an incredibly faint fold mark down the middle of the white
