This 1940s apron was originally designed to be worn over your normal clothes and protect them while you're doing chores. However, the vibrant print, and cool cotton fabric, make it the perfect summer dress. Note the armholes are quite low so you may, or may not, want to wear something under it.
Fabulously vibrant design of blue, pink and green on a white background.
The colours on this are fresh and bright. It goes on over your head and then has a tie back belt to cinch in the waist, there is a patch pocket and it is bound around the armholes and neck edge with pink cotton binding.
Shown on a 36" mannequin and its a tight fit. To ensure this will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own.
Flat bust 18"
Flat waist 17"
Flat hip 20"
Edge to edge across the shoulders 14"
Shoulder to waist 16.5"

Excellent. It is deadstock and is still crisp and new. Only issue to note is that the binding on the neck has been handsewn on due to a fault at the point of manufacture.
