This is a wonderful example of a 1940s tilt hat.
Labelled Josella it is new and still has the original shop tag hanging from the inner band.
It is a designed to sit on the right side of your head and has a neat crown and a sweeping back which hugs to your head. It is decorated with two wonderfully soft ostrich feathers in a rich blue.
Measurements
It doesn't fit fully on your head, just on a section, and will work on up to a 22" head. Actual measurements;

Condition
Beautiful, the only minor point to note is the fabric label fell off and has some discolouration and glue marks which have been left on the inner band. Really minor issue.
