Reproduction Garments

We are passionate about recreating the fashions of the past.

Our reproduction pieces are made using original 1930s, 1940s and 1950s sewing patterns and the majority of our garments are made using original 1930s and 1940s crepes, silks, rayons and cottons. Whenever possible, we use true vintage buttons, zips and trimmings.

We sometimes use modern cottons, which have been printed with a vintage inspired design, to make some of our blouses. These fabrics are all machine washable which makes them easier to care for than the true vintage fabrics. 

We try to replicate the fashions of the bygone eras using the finishing methods of the time, which means all our garments are hand finished, with pinked edges or French seams. We do not use an over-locker.
