I love this piece so much and it really is better in person than the photos show!
Made in the 1920s from apricot coloured pure silk, this is a beautifully feminine piece which is just perfect for the vintage loving lady. Made to an exceptionally high standard, all the edges are scalloped and each is finished with a triple layer of lace. Someone has painstakingly embroidered tiny single stem roses in soft pink and green.
Condition
Structurally very good but there are a couple of small points to note;
- when held up to the light there are approx. 10 small areas which are thinner than the rest of the fabric. They are only about 3mm each.
- on the back of the left sleeve there is some discolouration and it looks like some of the green embroidery has transfered colour
- there is some discolouratoin on the left jacket front
- there are a couple of other dirty marks on the piece, see photos
Even with the above issues it is a divine piece.

The piece it meant to be worn very loose, think cropped kimono in terms of fit. Shown on a 35" mannequin but could comfortably accommodate up to 40" bust.
Flat bust measured across the back 28"
Sleeve opening measured flat 10"
