An exceptionally beautiful jacket from the late 1930s or early 1940s.
This piece has no makers label but has been made to an exceptionally high standard. Beautifully tailored with pleated sleeve heads, covered buttons and a fitted waist it is fully lined with oyster satin. The outer is gold lame woven with coral and soft blue cotton in an Oriental design. The buttons are decorative and the piece actually fastens with poppers.
Would look perfect with a full length skirt or wide leg trousers.
