Exceptional 1940s hat!
Made from black felt it has a military inspired look and the base is similar in style to the forage caps worn by the services during WW2. Designed to sit tilted on the right side of your head, it has a chocolate brown velvet double bow and a huge ostrich feather plume which has been dyed brown and rust - the perfect hat for autumn.
It doesn't have makers label but there is a size label on the inner with 22 written on it.

It has a size label of 22 and as it is meant to sit fully on your head it won't fit any larger than this.

Condition
Beautiful condition, just a couple of small points to note;
- there are some breaks on the spine of the feather at the back. You can't really see them but you can feel them when you run your finger along the feather
- very slight make up mark on the inner
