This bolero has been hand knitted from a 1940s, wartime, Bestway pattern. A smart broad rib it is a longer line bolero which was originally modelled by 1940s American movie star Virginia Grey.
Knitted in James Brett Aria Sequin Yarn in Blue it is made up of 4% Payette, 9% Mohair, 9% Virgin Wool, 10% Polyester, 68% Acrylic. It is a really soft wool which is wonderfully warm to the touch and has a very slightly fluffy texture. The sequins are iridescent giving a lovely little sparkle.
