This is a novel piece.
Made in the 1930s or early 1940s, it is made from midnight blue leather. It features a bag front with a zip closure along the top and decorated with an embossed leather panel featuring a sailing ship. Attached to the back is a muff, which is heavily padded and lined in navy fabric, perfect for keeping your hands warm in winter.

Condition
Good with some minor points to note;
- the zip is stiff - it works perfectly well but takes a bit of effort to open it
- there is minor wear to the edges, as is to be expected with leather bags this age
- a 2mm hole in the leather on the back of the bag - see photo
- muff is a little scruff in places
