This is an absolutely beautiful little bag.
Made in the 1930s it has a celluloid frame which has been treated to look like tortoise shell. The beading is midnight blue with flowers worked in pink, blue, green and yellow.
It is lined with floral cotton. It has a velvet handle which is a replacement. The original would most likely have been a celluloid link chain to match the frame.

Without the handle the bag measures 8" by 6.5"
Condition
Good vintage. Beading is all sound and nothing comes off when you shake the bag. There is some slightly loose beading near the handle and some discolouration to the lining but it presents really well.
