This is an absolutely beautiful coat.

Made in the 1920s or early 1930s, it is made from smooth wool in a rich dark rust. The wool is close woven and has an almost felt like feel to it. The coat has beautiful detailing in the back and smart pointed detail on the sleeves at the elbow. It fastens with three large buttons, which are set off-centre, and a little covered button at the neck. The collar is trimmed with real Astrakhan and the piece is fully lined in copper colour fabric.


Measurements
It is a petite length and is best suited for up to a 34" bust, depending what you are going to wear underneath it. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and please note that all measurements have been taken on the outside.

Condition
Good with points to note;
- there are two moth holes on the revere - see photos. Because of the texture of the coat, darning them would make them more obvious than leaving them as they are. When the coat is fastened they really aren't that noticeable
- originally had three buttons on the sleeves, now only two on each
- three small areas of nap loss - front right hop, left hip and waist under the placket
