This is such an unusual little hat.
Made in the 1930s from slightly fluffy felt in a warm taupe shade, it looks a little like a fez hat which has been pleated on one side. Designed to be worn on the side of your head towards the front, this little topper is trimmed with an inky black plume of ostrich feather.
Measurements
Although it isn't designed to fit fully on your head and is only meant to tilt, it works best on someone with a smaller head than 22".

Condition
The hat is in very good condition with a couple of minor points to note;
- the inner grosgrain band does show some wear, although this isn't seen when the hat is worn
- there are 6 small moth grazes to the upper fluffy nap of the felt - they are not holes - see photos
