Original pink cotton bra from the 1940's or 1950's.
Beautifully made it has seamed cups and an elasticated front and adjustable straps. Such a pretty piece.
Measurements
Hook to hook is 27" stretching to 29"
Fullest width across the cups 35"
Top of the cup to the hem 8.5"
The hooks could be moved 1" to get a slightly bigger fit
Bra's are notoriously difficult to measure so please get in contact if you want any further measurements.
Condition
Good with points to note;
- there is a pale mark on the right cup
- someone has added the hooks and eyes to fasten. It appears that this piece originally had a different fastener as there are some tufty ends in the seams on both edges. The hooks are not original but they do the job and could be moved to make the piece bigger/smaller
