Made in the 1950's, this piece has a wonderful print of ears of wheat in bright red on a white ground with very fine black dots. It is such a vibrant, eye catching, print.
Due to some of the style details on the piece I believe this was originally a robe which someone has converted into a dress. It has a large collar, neat shoulder pads, waist insert and nice full skirt. It is made from crisp cotton and would be lovely and cool for the summer.
