This 1940s apron was originally designed to be worn over your normal clothes and protect them while you're doing chores. However, the vibrant print, and cool cotton fabric, make it the perfect summer dress. Note the armholes are quite low so you may, or may not, want to wear something under it.
Fabulously vibrant design of magenta, blue, orange, green, black and white on an aqua background.
The colours on this are fresh and bright. It goes on over your head and then has a tie back belt to cinch in the waist, there are two patch pockets and it is bound around the armholes and neck edge with green cotton binding. A very faded "Belmont" label is in the back neck.
