This 1940s apron was originally designed to be worn over your normal clothes and protect them while you're doing chores. However, the vibrant print, and cool cotton fabric, make it the perfect summer dress. Note the armholes are quite low so you may, or may not, want to wear something under it.
Fabulously vibrant design of blue, green and red flowers on a white background.
The colours on this are fresh and bright. It goes on over your head and there is a patch pocket and it is bound around the armholes and neck edge with blue cotton binding. Unlike most of this style of apron there are no waist ties but it could easy be cinched at the waist with a belt, if you intend to wear it as a dress.
