Made in the 1930s, the print on this piece is so beautiful.
Made from soft floppy cotton rayon mix it is labelled Mayflower OS. A wonderful floral border print in shades of blue, green and red it is a classic design of the late 1930s.
Measurements
Shown on a 35" bust mannequin but would work on up for a 40-34-42, although could be cinched tighter at the waist.
Condition
Fair. This piece has been loved and washed and used a lot and therefore has some issues to be aware of. Even with the issues its still a beautiful, functional, apron.
- various marks - the apron has been washed and the marks didn't come out so are there to stay
- the cotton binding has been resewn in places
- originally it had straps linking the neck loop to the apron sides but these have been cut off, the tiniest stubs of apron remain
- one waist tie must have snapped and so it is tied on
