This charming little bag was made in the early 20th century.
The body of the bag is made from black fabric and has a thick drawstring at the top. The bottom of the bag is trimmed with a fine linen 'cup' shape which covers the black fabric which helps give the base of the bag some firmness. The linen is covered in vibrant silk embroidery featuring flowers and a few scattered sequins.
