This piece was made in the 1940's or 1950's.
A large sized piece it is made from embossed plastic which has been coloured and patterned to look like snakeskin. It has a firm base, gold-tone fixings and clasp and a single handle.
A beautiful bag it has a good wide base and is a great size with plenty of room for a phone, purse and other essentials. It is fully lined and has lots of pockets for make-up etc.

Condition
Good with the following minor points to note;
- the clasp and metalwork show minor tarnish
- inner has some light discolouration
