This wonderfully detailed bag was made in the 1930's or 1940's.
The charming floral designs in muted shades on a dark brown base have been worked in pure wool and the design on the front matches the design on the back.
The frame is covered with leather and the handle is made from twisted leather. The bag is fully lined, has two inside pockets and still has the original mirror. It is finished off perfectly with a carved wooden clasp.
A great bag in a really good size.
