This wonderfully vibrant belt was home made in the late 1930's or early 1940's.
A cream linen base it is embroidered with a winding floral design in green, pink, blue, red, mustard, purple and orange silk threads and fastens with a large fabric covered buckle.
Would look wonderful over a plain linen or cotton dress and is the perfect way to liven up a simple frock.

Width 2 1/4"
Waist will fit up to a 30" waist maximum but can be cinched much smaller. It just needs the wearer to add a popper to the end for their particular waist size.
Condition
Very good, just the most minor signs of age related wear.
