This neat little bag was made in the 1940's.
Made from chocolate brown suede it is fully lined with beige suede. Featuring a circular gold-tone frame and clasp, the lid of the bag is solid and has a clip clasp. With two neat handles the bag is just the right size to hold all your essentials and would work well for day or evening.
A fabulous piece in an unusual shape.
Please note - the final photograph shows what the bag looks like when it doesn't have anything in it as there is no structure to the sides and it is very soft.
Measurements
The bag measures 5" diameter across the lid and 6" diameter on the base. Height at full extension is 6" excluding the handles and 11" with.
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- the metal frame is tarnished and discoloured in places, especially the loop in the clasp
- the suede lining is discoloured - the discolouration is fairly even and isn't seen when the bag is closed
- some minor marks and scuffs on the outer - as happens with suede - so please look at the photographs carefully to ensure that you are happy with the condition of the piece
