This charming piece was made in the 1950's and has a label 'Made in England'.
Made from inky black silk it has a fine chain handle and the flap has been hand-painted with a floral design in bold colours. Fully lined it fasten with a popper and would be perfect for an evening dance.

Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there are a few small marks
- slight wear to the top edges, under the flaps - see photos
- some tarnish on the chain
- some paint loss
