
This smartly tailored coat was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Labelled Samtex Town and Country Wear it is made from medium weight textured wool in slate grey and is fully lined with crepe.
Double breasted it fastens with two-tone grey buttons, has a smart rounded collar and has pockets.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- discolouration on the inner collar
- minor wear on the bottom left pocket opening
- 2 narrow 1cm darns on the edge of the right collar
- 1 1/2" single thread pull on the right collar bone area
- minor seam stress on the back waist
- a faint mark on the right sleeve
- small mark under the right sleeve
- minor wear to the lining and a few spots
