This coat was made in the 1940's and is labelled Zissman Model.
A beautifully tailored piece it is double breasted with a nipped in waist and features a large velvet covered collar, is fully lined with black crepe, has pretty pocket detail, featuring the same velvet trim as the collar, and is a very stylish piece.

This will best fit a 38" bust, depending on what you want to wear underneath it, but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and please note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the piece.

Condition
Fair with some points to note;
- light wear to the velvet on the collar and pocket trim
- has four small darns on the back of the coat, ranging from 3mm to 4mm
- a tear in the lining on the right front
- minor wear to the lining and some spots of discolouration
- main issue is a huge darn on the left sleeve, near the shoulder - the darn goes from the front to the back of the sleeve and hasn't been done to the highest standard - I'm certain a professional could repair it to a much higher standard
