This pretty day dress was made using original 1940's fabric and a 1940's pattern. It was not made by me.
The fabric is medium weight, smooth weave cotton with a fun tropical novelty print of flowers and postcards.
The bodice has a fitted waist panel with gathers at the bust and features a sweetheart neckline. The skirt is hop skimming and it fastens with an 11" metal side zip.
A great piece for the summer.
