This fabulous dress was made in the 1950's and is wonderfully vibrant and such a classic of the era.
Made from textured waffle cotton it has a white base with an intricate rose design in bright pink and a mix of greys.
It has a close fitting bodice with side bust pleats, features a full skirt - which looks great worn with a full petticoat - and fastens down the back with a long metal zip.
Please note the skirt isn't hemmed, and never has been, as the skirt has been made so that the hem is the selvedge edge of the fabric and won't fray.
