This beautiful dress was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Made from very floppy cotton it has broad stripes featuring pretty spring flowers in red, yellow and green. It is a button through design with a neat collar and has patch pockets.
A very pretty piece which is just perfect for the summer.

The dress will best fit up to a 36-29-42 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Has been much loved and repaired. It still has lots of life left in it and is a charming piece but please note all of the following;
- did have another button near the hem but the buttonhole and where the button was have both been patched
- hem has been altered at least twice so there are 2 lines of stitch holes on the skirt showing the alteration
- repairs under three buttons, but these aren't seen when the dress is worn
- small 1" patch under the right arm
- some small darns under the left arm
- right belt loop is very worn
- belt loops but no belt
- a small darn on the front right skirt
Has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
