This pretty little dress was made in the late 1930's.
Made from chocolate brown crepe with a vibrant design embroidered into the fabric, it features long sleeves, a ruched bodice, a shirred panel in the front of the skirt, a button back and still has the original belt.

Condition
Wounded but wearable. The dress is not in perfect condition and has been very loved. Please read the condition information carefully to make sure you're happy with the piece before purchasing.
- there is some underarm discolouration
- an area of discolouration on the back left seat of the piece - see photo
- some grazes to the surface of the fabric in the middle band
- a few areas of embroidery have scuffing
- there are six darns in the skirt ranging from 3mm to 10mm but these are not really seen unless you are looking for them
- some wear to the buttonholes
- the bottom front of the skirt is discoloured in a band - please zoom into the photo to see - the discolouration is minor but I'm assuming it was a fault in the fabric as it is a totally straight band
Still a super cute dress and the marks could easily be covered with a jacket.
