This charming piece was made in the late 1930's.
Made from floppy white linen it has a close fitting bodice and a neat square neckline with pretty embroidered trim. Featuring short sleeves with teeny gathers at the shoulders, it has a hip skimming skirt which is decorated with a wide band of embroidery.
An absolutely fabulous piece which is just perfect for summer.

Condition
Very good with the following points to note;
- there is a 5mm darn on the left side, just below the popper fastening
- belt loops but no belt
- there is a very, very faint stain on the back skirt-the stain is brown and looks like someone has soaked the skirt to get a mark off as it is a fine line in a circle, truly really pale, as you can see from the photos
