This classic day dress was made in the 1940's.
Made from beige crepe the darts in the bodice waist give a pretty pleated bust, it has three-quarter length sleeves, pockets, a slim fitting skirt and pretty wool worked embroidery on both pocket edges.
It fastens on the left side with a metal zip.

The dress will best fit a 34-27-38 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 16" in the back and 18" in the front plus a little extra fullness in the folds

Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there is a 12mm darn on the top right sleeve
- there is a 5mm darn on the right collarbone area
- there is a 5mm darn on the back left sleeve
- minor wear to the embroidery on the left pocket
- main issue is a 1.5" long thin repair in the skirt. The repair sits just under the skirt pleat so is mostly hidden
- there are some self marks in the skirt - not really visible unless you're really looking for them
