This gorgeous evening dress was made in the early 1940's.
Made from inky black crepe it is a classic design of the time featuring a close fitting bodice with a tie back belt and stiff shoulder pads to give you the iconic silhouette of the era.
With a waist insert that meets the finely gathered skirt, the dress has a stunning bodice detail with an openwork floral design edged with gold tone metal thread and backed with net and features a keyhole neckline with a single hook and eye fastening.
An absolutely stunning piece which is perfect for an evening dance.
