This classic belted day dress was made in the early 1940's.
Made from heavy linen it has an orange base with a circle and cross design worked in black and white. It has very firm shoulder pads, giving you the iconic silhouette of the early 1940's, short sleeves, faux pocket flaps, a heavily pleated skirt with twenty four pleats and is finished off perfectly with three black glass buttons.
The front fastening is poppers and the buttons are purely decorative, it also opens down the side with poppers.
