This neat little dress was made in the 1940's and is for the shorter lady.
Made from floppy cotton it has an inky black base with a geometric print worked in white. The bodice fastens with large black plastic buttons and there is no side opening on this piece. It has slim fitting sleeves, underarm gussets and still has the original belt.
A great little wardrobe staple which is stylishly simple in design.
