
This stunning dress was made in the late 1940's and is labelled Ritchwear.
Made from mid weight cotton it has an off-white base with broad stripes in black fine line and then bold stripes in pink, blue, yellow and black. A button through design it has a wide collar and a single pocket.
An iconic style and print of the era, it is just perfect for summer.
Please note although the label shows the dress will fit bigger, this is not the case due to it having been professionally altered - please refer to the measurements below for actual size.

Condition
Washed, pressed and ready to wear with the following points to note;
- the dress was professionally made smaller and has been done to a very high standard, the only way to tell it has been altered is that the adjusted seams have been over-locked
- there is some slight discolouration with some of the white stripes appearing less white than others
- both underarms have been strengthened - see photos
- inner neck discolouration
- a patch on the left underarm, see photo, but it is lost in the print
- a patch on the top right shoulder, but it is mostly lost within the print
- some very slight fade across the top of the dress
