This piece was made in the 1950's and is perfect for an evening out.
Made from midnight blue taffeta, which has a glorious sheen, it has a close fitting bodice with horizontal seaming. The skirt is fabulous and is vertically seamed in fine bands and the skirt below the knee is flared and has a great swish when you move, and would look great worn with a petticoat. It fastens down the left side with a metal zip and would be perfect belted.
Measurements
The dress will best fit up to a 37-28-40, and please note there is no stretch in the fabric at all. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Very good, the only minor points to note are it has belt loops but no belt and there is a 5mm darn just above the waist, but this would be covered if the dress is worn with a belt.
