This charming little dress was made in the 1950's.
A commercially made piece it is made from lightweight wool in deep purple and inky black check. A classic wiggle dress it has a close fitting bodice, nipped waist and seamed skirt. It fastens down the back with a long metal zip and is unlined.
Would originally have been belted and has loops but no belt. Please note it is shown with a velvet sash which isn't included in the sale.
