This fabulous floral frock was made in the 1950's and is labelled 'The Bonnie Blue Co.'
Made from semi sheer nylon - so you'll need to wear a slip - it has a pale purple base and vibrant floral print in purple, pink, green and white. A button through design it has a neat collar and the neck can be worn buttoned high or open, giving you two different looks. It has a patch pocket on the left bodice and two more on the skirt. It also still has the original belt.
I believe this was originally a chore dress, designed to be worn over your clothes to keep them clean, but it is far too pretty for that and - when worn with a slip - makes the perfect summer day dress.

Very good. Has been washed, pressed and ready to wear with the following points to note;
- there is a 3mm dark mark on the left hip pocket - see photo
- there is a very pale pinkish mark on the left bodice near the underarm - see photo
- the belt was once buttoned and still retains two buttonholes - doesn't impact wear but it is something to be aware of
- main issue is there is a visible line where the hem has been dropped
