This pretty dress was made in the 1950's and is labelled Kitty Copeland.
Made from nylon in shades of green it has a bold floral print. With a boned bodice it is very close fitting and has a heavily pleated detail at the bust. It has a very full skirt, which would look fabulous with lots of petticoats beneath, and has velvet straps and a velvet band, with bow trim, underneath the bust.
A gorgeous piece for an evening out.

The dress is very petite and is too small for my mannequin. It will best fit a 32-27-38 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Bust measured on the inside of the dress into the fullness of the piece 32" all round
Flat waist 13.5"
Hips free
Underarm to waist 7.5"
Top of strap to hem 40"
Circumference of skirt at hem 100"
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- most minor underarm discolouration
- slight wear to the edges of the velvet
