This beautiful dress was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Made from medium weight cotton in a floral print it has a soft grey base with detail worked in mustard, white and blue.
A home-sewn piece made using a mix of machine and hand stitching, it has a button front bodice, pretty shirring on the yoke, elbow length sleeves and a pleated skirt, it is a gorgeous piece for the summer.
