This beautiful evening dress was made in the 1930's and is so much better in real life than the photos show. It is a very petite fitting piece and won't fit on my mannequin so it isn't looking its best in the photographs.
Made from sheer stiffened voile in the palest pink it has a ditsy floral design worked in off-white. A sleeveless piece, it has a close fitting bodice and slim fitting skirt and fastens down the left side with teeny poppers. It has a double row of broad ruffles around the neckline and the hem and it comes with a pale pink artificial silk slip which is attached at the shoulders.
Measurements
The dress will fit up to a 32-27-36 and the bust, waist and hip measurements are for the slip, but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Washed, pressed and ready to wear with the following points to note;
- there are some very faint marks in the seat of the skirt and in the same spot on the slip
- discolouration to the ruffles in the shoulder area - the dress had become very grubby on the top line when it had been hung for many years in a costume companies shed. It has been soaked in Retro Clean twice and has come up so much cleaner but the discolouration that remains is very unlikely to come out
