This piece has been made from an original wartime pattern from 1941.
It features a collection of leaves in White, Gingerbread, Brick Red, Amber and Sunflower which have been embroidered with Romanian stitch and appliqued onto a band of black felt which is 5mm thick.
The centre "buckle" is made up of over 50 tiny three dimensional flowers which have been stitched onto a padded base of felt.
The belt fastens with two large hooks and eyes.
Made from 100% wool felt, it is an authentic reproduction of a wartime belt.

Hook to hook, the belt measures 28" and will best fit up to a 27.5" waist. However, depending on the thickness of the garment you are going to wear the belt over, it could work on a smaller waist if the garment you plan to wear it over is bulky.
