This is a beautiful example of an original cloche hat from the 1920's or early 1930's.
Made from fabulous quality inky black felt, it is a close fitting piece designed to sit fully on your head. The crown is deep and the brim is sweeping with the right side much wider than the left. It is trimmed with grosgrain in black and off-white and has a metal trim which is in the shape of a buckle.
A classic piece of the time.

Beautiful, the only minor point to note is some slight wear on the inner band. Exterior is exeptional.
