This wonderful hat was made in the 1950's and is labelled Marshall & Snelgrove.
A close fitting piece it is designed to hug your head and the front of the piece is trimmed with nine wired leaf shapes which really frame your face.
Finished off perfectly with a band of net and the original hat pin, it is a stylish piece which would be a great addition to any vintage collection.

This piece will fit up to a 22" head
Front to back across the top of the piece 10 1/2"
Side to side across the top of the piece 14"
Condition
Good with some minor points to note;
- there are some small breaks in the net but these are mostly lost within the tucks and only seen when you are looking for them
- slight marks on the inner lining - again, not seen when worn
- some light marks on the outer - see photo
