This wonderful hat was made in America in the 1940's and is labelled 'New York Creation Marche Hats'.
Made from black felt it is a classic topper design and has a shallow back and raised front which is trimmed with a bow and metal trim. It has an elastic to help keep the piece in place and can be tilted to either side or worn flat on your head.
The perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is some discolouration on the inner front band where the hat touches the forehead
- there is a large patch on the back brim - see photo - due to damage to the original brim caused by hatpin use. The mend is more noticeable on the underneath than the top.
- some wear and scuffing to the crown, see photo
