This neat little hat was made in the 1940's.
Made from fabric which looks like thin strips of straw, it has a neat crown and shallow brim and is trimmed with a band of grosgrain which has a button studded rosette in the back. There is a grosgrain band in the back to help keep the hat in place and it is a versatile little piece which can be worn tilted to either side of your head.
It is the perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.
