This fabulous hat was made in the 1940's and is labelled New York Creation.
Made from felt in a rich shade of purple it is a close fitting piece, designed to sit fully on your head and tilted to the right. It has a pretty lace up detail on the front right and is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
Measurements
It is labelled as a 22.5" head but it has been altered and so will only fit a 21" head.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- minor discolouration on the inner band, not seen when worn
- someone has clearly altered the hat to make it smaller and have done this by creating a small fold in the crown. Some of the stitch work used to make this change is visible
