This charming little hat was made in the 1950's.

Featuring a wired frame, the inner is what feels like stiffened linen and the outer is covered with pleated and ruched bands of cobalt blue cotton velvet.

A gorgeous little piece which would work well with a day or cocktail dress.

This piece will fit up to a 22" head.

Width from side to side 8 1/2"

Depth from front to back 5 1/2"

 

Condition

Good with some minor points to note;

- the inner is a little crumpled but this evens out when the hat is actually on a head

- a small 5mm fray on one of the edges
